Minneapolis I-35 bridge at night

Bathed in a surreal blue light, the new Interstate 35W bridge is a stunning sight at night. Even though many criticized the new bridge's design and plain or simplistic, the lighting scheme begins to make up for its design shortcomings. After all, this is Minnesota and we're just not that showy. This photo, taken a few evenings ago, shows the Mississippi River not surrounded by snow. I'm curious to see what it looks like with the light reflecting off of snow covered ground. It won't be long now.
