Lake Superior Lightning

Taken on the south shore of Lake Superior, in Superior, Wisconsin, this is the perfect example of lucky timing. The photographer explained that he was simply working on compiling exposures for a HDR photo and lightning struck. I am normally not a fan of HDR photography but this one is done right and with fabulous results.
