Fields of Gold

As we sit in a state mostly blanketed by snow, it was just a few months ago that the landscape was covered in shaded of green and gold. As this photo taken in August shows, a filed of oats lays cut and ready for harvest while framed by strips of lush green grass. Minnesota is definitely the home of opposites -- especially when it comes to our climate.
