Day break over an icy Lake Superior

With over 90% of the vast Lake Superior covered in ice, it's a bit of a surprise that this scene outside of Cove Point Lodge in Beaver Bay, MN has some open water visible. The contrast between the open water and the icy shore is stunning and the wide angle of this Minnesota scene truly won me over.
