The iconic Stillwater Lift Bridge, spanning the St. Croix River, serves tens of thousands of motorists each day traveling to and from Wisconsin for work an leisure. It also allows for a fair amount of boat traffic to pass under its lift span and is especially busy in the summer months as Minnesotans an Wisconsonites alike consider the river their playground on the water.
