Duluth Floods - Grand Marias Lighthouse Storm

The photographer says: Yup! Everything is real, from the lightning to the blue hour color. This is the Grand Marias Lighthouse.

This was one VERY large storm that flooded Duluth and surrounding area; closing most of the interstate and other roads. The Mayor of Duluth asked everyone to stay at home unless there was an emergency.

My wife and I had to make a 150’ish mile detour to get around the closed roads making our 5 and ½ hour return trip home, an 8 hours trip! (Did I forget to mention that we where on my motorcycle?) BOY did we get soaked!
