Saying goodbye to another Minnesota summer

Summer in Minnesota has officially drawn to a close. This summer we saw record-setting floods in June, the Major League Baseball All Star Game played at Target Field in July, the Minnesota Vikings return to an outdoor stadium in August and the final day of the Minnesota State Fair in September which ended in record attendance. Of course there were plenty of other photo-worthy moments throughout the summer months and some of those captivating scenes are showcased below...

Taken on the final Saturday of the Minnesota State Fair, the crowds were thick as the 2014 edition of the great Minnesota get-together was blessed with pleasant weather and record-setting crowds.
